Moroaswi Tumiso Victor hails from Zimbabwe, where he is an academic and writer. He received his bachelor's degree in English literature at the University of Zimbabwe (UZ). He then proceeded to the United States for his master's degree in education at the University of Louisville. Currently, he is pursuing his doctorate degree in African Studies at the University of Pittsburgh
Moroaswi also works as an English lecturer for local universities in Zimbabwe.
